Hogan (right) - Like a church for Christians or a mosque for Muslims, the "Hogan" of the Navajo is a sacred building for religious ceremonies. Not really sure if the name for this site was influenced in any way by the Navajo or not but our "Hogan" is a special place none-the-less. Up here, you are at the outer reaches of civilization.
